Consistency rules in futures evaluations
A consistency rule caps how much of your profit can come from your single best day. In the evaluations covered here, breaking it doesn't fail you. It raises the profit you need.
How it works
If the rule is 50% and your best day made $2,000, you need at least $4,000 of total profit before you can pass, even if the target is $3,000. In general:
Profit needed = the larger of the target and (best day ÷ consistency percentage)
So one big day early in an evaluation can push the finish line out. A 40% rule is stricter than a 55% rule: with a $2,000 best day, a 40% rule needs $5,000 and a 55% rule needs about $3,636.

What this means for your trades
- If a large share of your profit comes from a few days, look at evaluations without a consistency rule, or with a higher percentage.
- The replay applies each rule day by day, so it shows how often the rule raised your target and how many extra days it took.
- Minimum trading days work alongside consistency: a target can't be reached in fewer days than the minimum.
