- Maximum Loss Limit trails your end-of-day balance, is enforced in real time including unrealized P&L, and locks at your starting balance.
- Best day must be 55% of total profit or less. Going over raises the profit you need; it doesn't fail you.
- New Trading Combines run only on TopstepX, which has no default daily loss limit. A $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 daily loss limit can be added at checkout ("Responsible Trading Advantage", for larger payout caps and discounts); it is not modeled.
- 150K is $199 a month on Topstep's product page (Oct 17, 2026); an older pricing help article says $149. A no-activation-fee path at a higher monthly price is not modeled.

- TopstepX all-in rates (exchange, NFA and commission), which Topstep says apply to the Trading Combine and Express Funded Account. Other platforms aren't listed on that page.
